Application of RQfrost hoses

RQfrost hoses are hybrid straight-type flexible hoses designed for use in industrial and workshop pneumatic installations. They are ideal for connecting various types of pneumatic machines and tools to compressed air supply.

RQfrost - flexible at any temperature

The operating temperature range of the forged hose is between -20°Cand +60°C. The hose's blend of synthetic NBR rubber and PVC plastic retains its properties at temperatures from -40°Cto +80°C. As a result, ahoseused outdoors during freezing temperatures or in cold storage will maintain good flexibility, a small bending radius and provide adequate comfort.

Hybrid resistance

The hybrid material of NBR and PVC, the outer layer reinforced with polyester braid and thick walls make the RQfrost hose stand out for its very good resistance to deformation, bending and twisting. It is devoid of the so-called "shape memory" - even after prolonged pressure, it quickly returns to its original form. Walls with a thickness of 8 mm well protect the hose from accidental punctures or other damage, and the outer rubber coating performs a protective function against abrasion and abrasion.

RQS Premium Quick Couplings

The ends of the hose are forged into RQS Premium industrial quick couplings - type 1625 KA, conforming to the EURO standard DN 7,8. The threaded part of the coupling is made of nickel-plated brass, the valve is brass, and the valve body is steel with QPQ coating. The springs and locking pins are made of stainless steel. The solid locking sleeve was molded from durable TPE thermoplastic. The quick connect plug is made of hardened and galvanized steel. A thick rubber cover prevents kinking and damage to the connectors. High tightness is guaranteed by NBR gaskets and precision fit of the components. The quick coupler will be perfect where compressed air consumption is above average.

Chemical resistance

The hose material shows high resistance to UV radiation, exposure to oils, fats, alcohols, ozone, glycol, freon and other light chemicals. It is also non-flammable.

Operational safety

The maximum working pressure of the hose is 20 bar (at 23°C). Safe use of RQfrost hoses in pneumatic systems is ensured by a safety factor of 3:1.
