Michele Pensato (aka Molletta), stands out with a new approach to using materials and experiments in heat treatment and advanced software in knife design.

Sleipner - a blade made of chromium-molybdenum-vanadium, high-alloy universal tool steel with high wear and chipping resistance. Achieves high hardness 60-61 HRC. Manufactured at Uddeholm Swedish steelworks.

Blade - with a Drop Point profile, with a distinct belly, provides excellent edge geometry and extreme cutting efficiency. Smooth Plain blade, refined with a Flat Grind, which perfectly presents a matte satiny finish. Located on the bottom of the blade, a protrusion / flipper, assisted by IKBS, facilitates opening the blade. In the open position, the protrusion acts as a guard, protecting the hand from slipping onto the blade.

IKBS - (ball bearing system) enables fast, smooth blade opening.

Solid Frame-Lock - reinforced, monolithic blade lock made of Ergal aluminum. One of the handle scales serves as a lock mechanism and is reinforced with a hardened steel liner.

RotoLock - a lock with a patented additional locking mechanism in the shape of a titanium disc designed by Gianpaolo Pauletta. When the knife is open, turning the RotoLock by about 1/8 turn clockwise wedges the locking mechanism, preventing accidental release of the blade lock, providing blade stability identical to knives with fixed blades.

Handle - in red color. Made with Solid® Knife technology, obtained from a single piece of Ergal aluminum, machined in 4D. As a result, a monolithic skeleton (body) of the highest strength was obtained, which is a solid structural element. The handle scales were treated with CNC obtaining an anti-slip texture. The compact left/right two-position clip allows carrying the knife in the tip-up position (with the tip up). Attached to the aluminum frame with a tungsten carbide screw / glass breaker. In the rear part of the handle, a lanyard hole, a hole for a lanyard.
